Community Resources
Rent & Housing Assistance
The STEP Program is fighting housing instability in our community by offering temporary rental assistance to Clayton County families in imminent danger of eviction. The STEP Program is not used to consistently pay rent but instead acts as a step towards housing stability.
The program is intended for those applicants who are behind on rent or can’t make a payment that is ordinarily maintained by their income.
Please note that funds are limited. We are working to determine applicants’ needs on a case-by-case basis.
